Lots of colleagues from our stores in the North West were proud to support Bury Pride – here are Liz and Jay from our Warrington store joining in.The event celebrated inclusion and diversity and Liz said: "14 colleagues from the region were joined by members of Transwarrington to help rock the parade and support our LGBT+ community – well done guys!

Supporting Forget Me Not Cafe in Penketh

Many thanks to Sylvia at the Forget Me Not Cafe in Penketh for the invitation to pop over to the dementia cafe she voluntarily runs for our community. We looked at the memory garden that is funded by our store along with some gardening, and also talked about how Asda Foundation funding may be able to support their community computer room. Somehow I ended up joining in with the Morris dancing!

Easter crafts fun with local youth club

Myself and Beky made Easter crafts at the youth club! We learnt how to dye eggs, marble eggs and decoupage eggs too as well as use a glue gun safely. We made all these super cute eggs from real goose eggs courtesy of my very kind colleague Brenda! Thanks for your kind donation of eggs, the youngsters loved learning about the goose, duck, barman, pheasant and quail eggs.

Working together achieves more

Wonderful to catch up with these three. Richard from Huyton, Dee from Runcorn and Charlene from Wigan came together to meet with our store's Autism Parent/Carer Support Group called Missing Piece Warrington to see if they could set one up back in their stores.
