Falmouth store donations reach out to the local community
January was a great month for donations in the Falmouth store with the new £150 budget being put to good use among our local community. First to benefit was Sea Sanctuary, a local mental health charity championing ‘blue therapy’ on the water for adults and children. They've also recently adapted a boat to become a home for children in care. The donation of sandwiches, cakes, tea, coffee and many other goodies was used to launch their home and to raise awareness of the much valued charity. Secondly, the local police community support officers were also very grateful to receive a donation of tea and coffee, cakes and biscuits and much more. Their ‘Tea and Consent’ tent in the university’s canteen was a huge hit. It’s always so great to be able to see how the donations are being used!
