Julie backs our Be Your Breast Friend campaign

Our wonderful chilled colleague Julie is getting behind our Be Your Breast Friend breast cancer campaign to remind people to regularly check themselves. Julie had breast cancer a few years ago and is always there to support us. She thinks the stickers are a great idea.

Be Your Breast Friend

Thank you to Maria, our produce section leader, for supporting our Be Your Breast Friend initiative. We've been putting stickers telling people to have a good feel and reminding everyone how important it is to regular check themselves on all sorts of different items, including these melons.

Cramlington Knit and Knatter Group

Cramlington Knit and Knatter Group have been thinking about homeless people during this bitterly cold time of year – knitting blankets and headbands. Here we have Margaret and Jean modelling the headbands. I popped along to keep their energy up with some biscuits and chocolates. Well done ladies!
