Foxy has a fantastic tale to tell at school after spending the weekend at Asda Felling

Our colleague Wendy Cummings put out an appeal on Facebook when she found Foxy among the lost property at our Felling store in Gateshead.

I was thrilled when I learned that we were going to be working closely with our local foodbanks through the Asda Fight Hunger Create Change initiative.

My store's local food bank, The Penryn and Falmouth foodbank, founded by The Trussell Trust and based at the Highway Community Centre in Penryn, has had their two homemade donated collection boxes in our store for years. Read more

Generous customers and colleagues support our Fight Hunger campaign

A big thank you to all our customers and colleagues across the country who've been getting behind our Asda Fight Hunger Create Change campaign.

Over the next two weeks we'll have food collection points in around 300 of our larger stores, with donations going to local food banks. It's just the first in a series of big initiatives over the next three years as we team up with FareShare and The Trussell Trust to invest at least £20 million to try to lift one million people in the UK out of food poverty.
