Denise and myself spent a day at Lyndon Secondary School teaching all the students how to do CPR. The whole school took part in learning this really important skill.

Sponsored dog walk

For the last 20 years, I've taken part in Sutton Rotary Club's sponsored walk in aid of Birmingham Dogs Home. My daughter and I helped raise over £1400 on the day with others too. I the had a lovely surprise receiving a top up cheque for £100 from the Asda Foundation team - can't wait to call Rachel at the dogs home to let her know more money is on its way. Thrilled to bits - thank you Asda Foundation.

Supporting open day at women's refuge

The lovely ladies at Vanity Doll hair and make up opened the doors on for people to donate anything suitable for GilGal Birmingham. GilGal is a women's refuge for women and children escaping domestic violence. Our very talented colleague Kelly donated hand made cupcakes. Once finished we had a truck and car full of donations to deliver to our local site. Many thanks to the ladies at Vanity Doll, Trisha for her support as usual, Kelly for the cakes and all those who donated. It made a great difference - thank you.
