Olive loves the 'fantastic' service on her weekly visits to Asda Rushden

Happy 90th birthday to great-grandmother Olive Lovell! She says she loves her weekly trips to our Rushden store because colleagues like Kelly Middleton, Sarah Pond and Debbie Cox are "so good" to her – helping her round the store, picking up and packing her shopping for her.

Olive, who has rheumatoid arthritis, said: "They tell me to sit down but I don't want to. I prefer to walk round if I can because they make it a pleasure and we have a laugh and a joke. They're marvellous, fantastic – I don't know what I'd do without them. Read more

Our new triplet trolley has transformed the Taylors' shopping experience

Parents Mike and Kerri Taylor used to struggle with their shopping trips – until our Hereford store’s manager Stuart Goldspink arranged for this specially-designed trolley for their triplets.

Mike says two-year-olds Arthur, Violet and Keeva really enjoy being together in one trolley on their regular visits to Asda with big brother Edward, who’s five. Read more

Stephen's World Book Day superhero character is brought to life

A big well done to nine-year-old Stephen Hewitt who won our World Book Day competition to create a new superhero – and has seen his Autismo Boy character brought to life.

Nursery school children are all smiles after Sandra replaces their smashed gnomes

The children at Tidbury Green Nursery in Solihull were heartbroken when their much-loved Asda gnomes were smashed by thieves who tried to steal them.

Hearing dog Ben helps Russell carry on working at our Biggleswade store

Our popular colleague Russell Bryant began losing his hearing as a child and is now profoundly deaf – but thanks to his hearing dog Ben he’s been able to continue working at our Biggleswade store where he helps people shop using Scan & Go.

Russell, who’s been at the store for 12 years, said: "I want to work, and I love to help people, and Asda made this possible when they agreed for me to have Ben in store.” Read more
