Ash from Asda Inverness loves delivering to holidaymakers in the Highlands

I'm lucky to work in one of the most beautiful areas of the country in a place where people come on holiday.

As a team we cover from Dingwall, north of Inverness, out to Cromarty on the Black Isle then as far south as Glencoe and then as far west as Broadford on the Isle of Skye. The furthest south we deliver is approximately 90 miles from the store and about another 90 miles west to Broadford. As you can imagine, there are miles of spectacular Scottish scenery our drivers pass through every day. Read more

These meringues from Lees of Scotland are Extra Special ... and available across the UK

We've added two delicious new meringue flavours to our Extra Special range. The new meringues – one shell is strawberry flavoured with white chocolate and the other shell is a traditional meringue with a Belgian chocolate coating – are made by Lees of Scotland, who have been awarded a new national supply contract with us.

The company has expanded its range extensively and has been supplying Asda for over 20 years. It developed the Extra Special Meringue Shells, available at 230 of our stores across the UK, using the highest quality British sugar and free range eggs. Read more
