'Fantastic role model' Fleur inspires students with careers talk at her old school

When Fleur Foster was two years old doctors told her parents she might not be able to speak because of her autism – but now she's doing so well after getting a job at our Isle of Wight store that her old school invited her back to give a careers talk.

Fleur, who's 23, has worked at the store since it opened two years ago. Her colleagues, friends and family have seen her confidence soar in that time and she was invited back to St George's Special School by her proud former teachers. Read more

Asda customers in Scotland can now choose from more than 80 Scottish craft beers

If you live near any of our stores in Scotland and you like craft ale we've got a treat for you! We've teamed up with the Craft Beer Clan to source 12 craft ales from Aberdeen's Six Degrees North, Glasgow-based West, Alexandria’s Loch Lomond Brewing, Tempest of Galashiels and Stewart Brewing in Loanhead.

They will be in all our stores in Scotland, giving customers more than 80 different Scottish craft beers to choose from. Read more

Asda colleagues take part in Yorkshire Three Peak Challenge for Tickled Pink

More than 300 of our colleagues teamed up to tackle the Yorkshire Three Peaks – raising £40,000 for Tickled Pink.

Colleagues from Asda's head office in Leeds, George House in Lutterworth, stores and depots, as well as a number of our suppliers, all took part in the 24.5m challenge, which covers Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-ghent. Read more

Home Shopping driver Ben shares stunning photos of his delivery route

One of our Home Shopping section leaders, Ben, loves taking scenic photos of local landmarks while he's out and about delivering to customers in the Middlesbrough area. The team's delivery routes can include city, coast and moor so every day is a different view. Ben doesn't get on the road as much as he used to in his current role so when he does it's a good excuse for a selfie!

Our Lowestoft store’s handyman Jeff Drayton loves going out of his way to help everyone – and the store's community champion Bev Shipp says he does so much for her in and out of work he's like a father to her.

Bev’s dad and stepfather both died when she was young and she says Jeff – a former semi-finalist on Britain's Got Talent – has been an amazing friend to her since she joined Asda 10 years ago. Read more
