Asda Darlington is on Whinbush Way. If you are heading out of Darlington toward Middlesbrough and the A66 along Whinfield Road, turn left at the Traffic lights onto Whinbush Way. Green Token Giving winners receive Asda Foundation donation

Great North Air Ambulance Service won our Green Token Giving vote and receive a cheque for £500. Kay Roberts, a volunteer fundraiser for the charity and a regular customer, was thrilled to receive the donation.

Local hospital receive Green Token Giving donation

The Special Care Baby Unit at Darlington Memorial Hospital were runners up in Green Token Giving and receive a cheque for £200. I visited the unit and presented the cheque to nurses Lindsay, Claire and Carolyn.

#AsdaRocks celebrating Tickled Pink fundraising

Emma thanks Asda opticians who spotted life-threatening brain condition

Asda customer Emma Ward paid a special visit to our Hyde store to say a big thank you to our optician colleagues who spotted a serious brain condition that could have resulted in death or paralysis if it wasn’t diagnosed and treated.

She’d made several visits to the doctors and hospital with terrible head pain and, after three months with no diagnosis, she decided to go for an eye test to rule out needing glasses. Read more
