Colleagues at Asda Lowestoft are backing Asda handyman Jeff Drayton to win Britain’s Got Talent and are urging everyone to vote for him! The 73-year-old handyman entertained the judges in his first audition with a magic act which involved firing a puppet out of a home-made cannon.

Store manager Ian Grieve believes Jeff could go all the way to the final – and would love to see him perform at the London Palladium in front of the Queen.

“He’s very clever, he can turn his hand to anything,” says Ian. "I think he could be a dark horse in the competition.

“His speciality is animatronix. He’s very excited about whatever he’s been building for the semi-final but he’s not giving us any clues!”
