Welcome to Asda Stowmarket

Sarah Gardiner Hello, my name is Sarah Gardiner and I am the General Store Manager at Asda Stowmarket. We have everything you need for your full shop in store. Our Home Shopping and Grocery Click & Collect services give you access to the full Asda range, either delivered direct to your door or into store at a time that’s convenient to you. My colleagues and I focus on delivering a great shopping experience for every customer with outstanding prices, great quality and all served with that unique Asda personality. If you need to contact us, please use the details on the left.

David loved shopping at Asda when he was a little boy and told his mum “When I grow up I want to work here” – and he’s fulfilled his dream.

David with Gladys

David, who’s deaf, got a work experience placement and then a full-time job at our Huddersfield store – and he’s hugely popular with colleagues and customers like 85-year-old Gladys Dorward (pictured above with David).

His mum, Adele Marsden, got in touch with us on Facebook to say how much David has enjoyed his time at the store.

Our new Spring-inspired George home range is available now – and fans on social media have been quick to tell us how much they like it.

Ambleside

This season there are six trends. Ambleside takes inspiration from the Lake District for a beautiful rustic charm; Havana is hot with print and colour; Akira is a stunning minimalist collection with clean lines and graphics; Classic Grey offers a modern take on regal style; Botanical Rhapsody combines texture with beautiful lush green paints; and Twisted Vintage is full of quirky and intricate design details. Find out more about the ranges here.

Customers have been taking to social media to share photos of items they’ve bought from the new collections, with the rabbits from the Ambleside collection proving a particular favourite.

Happy 80th birthday to our wonderful Nuneaton checkout colleague Ennis Claridge.

Ennis and Stewart

She’s worked at the store since it opened 30 years ago and says “I never think about retiring – I’ m happy here.” Colleagues laid on a surprise party for her, and customers including Stewart, pictured above, wished her many happy returns.

Colleagues decorated her checkout for the big day, and held a special afternoon tea for her birthday in the colleagues canteen – where they presented her with flowers and a cake.

We’re proud to be backing a series of initiatives in Leeds which provide help and support for people with mental health issues.

Cheque presentation

Asda Foundation has donated £380,000 to Leeds Community Foundation’s Leeds Fund to distribute to groups running innovative mental health projects in the city.

The Leeds Fund supported six initiatives at the end of last year, but didn’t have the funding it needed to support another 16 mental health community projects that had been shortlisted. The donation from the Asda Foundation will now help all these additional schemes.
