The team, headed up by chef Mark, cooked up a feast at the World BBQ Championships for the judges including our delicious Bourbon ribs, hand-trimmed and authentically smoked over cherrywood chips, then marinated for 24 hours in a sweet seasoning and slow-cooked ‘til they’re fall-apart tender.
They were inspired by our first trip to Memphis last year which was the inspiration behind the whole US-style BBQ range including sweet and smoky pulled pork, slow-cooked beef brisket and chicken wings.

Hello, my name is Julie Sands and I am the new Community Colleague at Asda South Wootton. I am delighted to hold this position and I am really looking forward to making a difference within the community and supporting our local charities. I have worked at Asda South Wootton since the store opened in 2011. I am the also the Service Section Leader. I really enjoy making a difference and helping others as the reward is to see that you are bringing a smile and a little happiness to other peoples lives. With the support of my fellow colleagues we have already arranged some fabulous events during 2013 to raise money for not only Asda National charities but also our local charities. We will be working closely this year with our local schools, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, local charities, Fire Service, Community Police and care homes.
