Welcome to Asda Skelton

Hi. I am Richard Frank the manager of your brand new Asda in Skelton. You will find everything you need for your full weekly shop at great low prices and served with the unique Asda personality. I look forward along with all of our colleagues to welcoming you to the store.

We love hearing about when our colleagues have gone an extra mile to help customers!

We recently posted about little Rebecca who lost her favourite cuddly toy ‘Cow.’ Cow had sold out everywhere a year ago but luckily customer service colleague Lubos managed to track one down at the original suppliers! You can read the full story here.

Rebecca with Cow

When we posted about the story on Facebook we received more stories about Asda colleagues who helped to reunite little ones with their cuddly toys.

An Asda Living Store in Manchester has introduced a Saturday morning “Quiet Hour” to help customers with autism after an idea from manager Simon Lea.

Simon Lea

Starting on 7th May, he will be opening the store in Cheetham Hill an hour early to trial a “Quiet Hour” for customers who may be disturbed by loud noise.

From 8am to 9am there will be no in-store music or tannoy announcements and the televisions and escalators will be turned off. Colleagues will also be handing out maps of the store featuring pictures instead of words.
