Asda Hemel is off jct 8 of the M1. Follow the A414 signs to Hemel Hempstead town centre, you will reach the infamous magic roundabout. Follow the signs for Hospital (NO A&E). As you go up the hill the hospital is on your right-hand side and Asda is on the left by the Citizens Advice Bureau.

Our Home shopping colleagues often deliver to holiday destinations – but turning up to a scout camp in the middle of a field was a first for driver Tony Seager!

Scout camp delivery

The 10th Frome Scout group lived up to the Scout motto “Be prepared” when they placed their online order in advance of their camp last weekend. They ordered BBQ meat, rolls and other camp essentials for 86 to be delivered on Friday to their mess tent door! They were taking part in a District camp with 400 beavers, cubs and scouts at West Woodlands show field just outside Frome.

Scout leader Clare Ibbitson shared the photo of the delivery on Twitter and said they were delighted with the service they received.

“The driver was exceptionally polite and interacted with the Holstein who were helping unload the shopping!” said Clare.

Vicky Emmonds and partner James recently spotted an opportunity to transform a second-hand sofa into a fantastic piece of retro-style furniture – all with a little help from our fab George Home Fifties Pin Ups bedding!

Vicky, who works with children, and James, a filmmaker, came across our fifties-style bedding when they spotted a post about it on Facebook.

The creative couple decided the vintage-looking patterns would be perfect for their new flat – a converted church in the Yorkshire countryside.
