Brave colleagues Sheila Bonham, Tracey Crowther and Annette Lai from our Eastlands store took to the skies to raise vital funds for Breast Cancer Care charity Tickled Pink.

The three ladies took part in a tandem skydive from 11,000 feet and raised over £2000 for the charity, as well as organising a Tickled Pink charity night with the help of colleagues.

Colleagues at our Gorseinon store held an action-packed superhero day to help raise funds for nine-year-old Alan Gifford to get bionic hands.

Alan was born with a complex heart condition that meant at the age of just nine-days-old he had to have open heart surgery. By the time he was two and a half Alan had undergone over 40 heart operations.

Former welterweight champion of the world, Ricky ‘the Hit Man’ Hatton popped into our Radcliffe store to collect a cheque for £17,000, raised by Asda stores in Greater Manchester for Brain Tumour Research.

Colleagues across the city have been fundraising for Brain Tumour Research since March, holding events like wearing hats on Wear A Hat Day, selling cakes and holding tombolas.

Our Radcliffe store collected the highest store total of all stores in Manchester, raising over £3000 – and boxing legend Ricky Hatton surprised colleagues and customers in Radcliffe by turning up to collect the donation in person.
