Asda fuel price cut

Great news if you’re driving somewhere this Bank Holiday weekend – we’re cutting the price of unleaded by up to 2p per litre and the price of diesel by up to 1p per litre!

From tomorrow (August 19th 2014), you’ll pay no more than 124.7ppl for unleaded or 128.7ppl for diesel at any of our 234 forecourts nationwide – that’s our lowest fuel prices since January 2011!

And thanks to our national price cap, you can be confident you’ll get the best deal wherever you are in the country.

Sharon, who has been clear of cancer for six years, is taking part in the swim with thirteen others, one being her sister who has always supported her fundraising efforts.

Our Home shopping colleagues often deliver to holiday destinations – but turning up to a scout camp in the middle of a field was a first for driver Tony Seager!

Scout camp delivery

The 10th Frome Scout group lived up to the Scout motto “Be prepared” when they placed their online order in advance of their camp last weekend. They ordered BBQ meat, rolls and other camp essentials for 86 to be delivered on Friday to their mess tent door! They were taking part in a District camp with 400 beavers, cubs and scouts at West Woodlands show field just outside Frome.

Scout leader Clare Ibbitson shared the photo of the delivery on Twitter and said they were delighted with the service they received.

“The driver was exceptionally polite and interacted with the Holstein who were helping unload the shopping!” said Clare.
