We run a green token vote in our Chatham store for customers to choose local good causes for Asda support – and the store’s Community Champion Leonie Samways has been busy presenting cheques to the latest winners.

Leonie presents the cheque

The winning good cause receives £500, with two runners-up each receiving £200. You can nominate a good cause you’d like to see included in the next vote by completing the form on the right of this page.

Leonie’s day started by presenting a £500 cheque to Kent Search and Rescue, who won the most recent in-store vote.

Colin Martin has been growing daffodils for Asda for the past six years on his farm in Lincolnshire and sells 4.5 million bunches each year – that’s around 90 million daffodils!
