Asda customer Kathryn contacted us on social media to tell us how wonderful our Peterborough colleague Jo is after she came to her aid when her car crashed.
Jo stopped to help when she spotted Kathryn’s car had crashed off a frozen country road. Kathryn said: “She was like an angel. She was brilliant and so reassuring.”
Mum-of-two Kathryn Eldridge, 32, had to clamber out of the passenger door when her car span off the road, smashed through a fence and ended up in a field.
Other cars went past without stopping but when 21-year-old Jo Durndell – on her way to work – spotted distraught Kathryn she stopped and ran to help her.
Kathryn said: "Once I’d managed to get out of the car I was shaken and crying, and I looked up and saw Jo running towards me with her arms open. She said ‘come here’ and gave me a big hug and asked if I was ok. Read more
