Welcome to Asda Barnes Hill

Hi, I'm Richard Kennea, the store manager of your new Asda Barnes Hill Superstore. I look forward, along with all of our colleagues, to welcoming you to your new store and working with you to make your Asda a great place to shop.

It wouldn’t be Halloween without pumpkins – and we’ve got a bumper crop this year at Asda with large pumpkins just £1.50 in store. Once you’ve got your pumpkin you’ll need a pumpkin carving kit – available in store – and a bit of imagination!

At the age of 92 Angela Lingard has just done her first ever online shop – and is absolutely thrilled with the service!

Angela, who lives in a sheltered bungalow in Macclesfield, is housebound and until now has had to rely on relatives to do her shopping for her. Now she can choose her own shopping in the comfort of her own home.

“It’s just first class” she said. "I like the choice and I’ve found Asda is very good value. The pictures come up on screen so you can see what you’re buying.

“One of the frozen meals that Asda does is absolutely beautiful – Chicken in Wine for £2. It really is delicious. I’ve found Asda is very good value.”
