Asda Arrowe Park is on the A552 Woodchurch Road. If you are heading out of Liverpool through the Kingsway tunnel you will find Asda off junction 3 of the M53. As you approach the roundabout, take the fourth exit on your right. The store is on the right as you come off the slip road.

World Book Day at Asda Antrim

World Book Day celebrates its 20th anniversary when this year’s event takes place on Thursday March 2nd. To mark the occasion, our wonderful team of Community Champions are arranging fun activities in store, as well as visiting local primary schools to read to youngsters – and colleagues in our stores across the UK are joining in the fun too.

A village community centre is getting a much-needed upgrade – thanks to a £28,400 donation from the Asda Foundation.

Cheque presentation

Trawden Forest Community Centre is a vital hub for people from the village near Colne to enjoy a range of activities.

Volunteers took it on from Pendle Council in 2014 and the donation from the Asda Foundation will go towards refurbishing the centre, including rewiring, a new extended kitchen, new seating and floor coverings, followed by re-decoration.

The new gnome range includes a footballer, a fairy and a policeman – and it’s been an instant hit.

Vikki Nugent from Aberdare said she has bought almost every available giant gnome and now has around 30 in her front garden.

David loved shopping at Asda when he was a little boy and told his mum “When I grow up I want to work here” – and he’s fulfilled his dream.

David, who’s deaf, got a work experience placement and then a full-time job at our Huddersfield store – and he’s hugely popular with colleagues and customers like 85-year-old Gladys Dorward (pictured above with David).
