Welcome to Asda Accrington

The store manager at Asda Accrington is Bill Gornall. If you need to contact the store for any reason, please use the phone number on the left.

We were so delighted to hear how much four-year-old Kyron Howie loves Asda that we arranged a special treat for him when he visited our Accrington store.

June and Kyron

Kyron is likes to dress up in an Asda shirt and name badge and tells his mum Bobbie that he wants to visit every day.

So our community life champion June Smith and store manager Steve Lamming arranged a special visit for Kyron, Bobbie and Kyron’s nana Beverley, starting with breakfast in the canteen and taking in a guided tour around the store, including a special treat in the toy section.

Our colleagues look forward to him popping in to look at the vehicles and help out – so when they heard his school prom was coming up they decided there was only one way for him to get there!

That’s why Emma’s sister Niki Finnie nominated her for a visit from the Asda Cake My Day team while we were in Edinburgh.

When we let Facebook users know our Cake My Day van was going to be visiting County Durham lots of people nominated young mum Jade Pateman for a special surprise.

Jade has been diagnosed with advanced cervical cancer at the age of just 21 – but her mum Yvonne told us she’s proud of the way Jade is staying positive and is determined to make the most of every moment with her two-year-old son Oscar.

Yvonne said: “Even though she is currently receiving extensive chemotherapy she is staying very positive and trying to raise awareness of this horrible disease and how it can be detected earlier.”
